Cheers! Roboexotica will take place in Vienna December 4-7, 2014 at the wonderful Brick-5 (Fünfhausgasse 5, 1150). Until recently, no attempts had been made to publicly discuss the role of cocktail robotics as an index for the integration of technological innovations into the human Lebenswelt, or to document the increasing occurrence of radical hedonism in man-machine communication. Roboexotica is an attempt to fill this vacuum. It is the first and, inevitably, the leading festival concerned with cocktail robotics world-wide.

This year we present many marvellous machines. Like the superefficient and hyperfast Melmacc, a postapocalyptic phone booth, a booze organ, a pancake-making robot that uses alcoholic jam, and "Puff, The Magic Hard-On", a collaboration of monochrom and the Sex-Toy-Maker "Bad Dragon". There will also be an inebriant game that uses the mechanics of the TOR network, an important system for the fight for internet privacy. Alan Turing would doubtless test this out.

There will be performances, concerts, and ACRA, the Annual Cocktail Robot Award 2014. Hooray!
