Winy Maas speaks in this lecture about recent work and studies by MVRDV and the independent think tank The Why Factory at Delft University of Technology who work on the practical and theoretical side on progressive scenarios for the future of the city. MVRDV through architecture and urbanism and The Why Factory through visionary research, directed towards analysis and solution of global issues. Among other subjects he will discuss the value of the iconic, the copy-paste generation, a vision for Hong Kong, parametric urban planning and software that will facilitate realization of the Green Dream.
