The exhibition features over 100 press photos submitted by HK journalists, presenting their accurate, fair, and visually compelling insights about the anti- extradition bill movements. A supplementary timeline traces the movement from the start to its current state. The exhibition is in partnership with Presseclub Concordia.

Background
In the past six months, the world has witnessed hundreds of thousands of Hong Kong citizens participating in the protests against a proposed controversial extradition law that would allow criminal suspects to be extradited to mainland China. Critics say this would undermine Hong Kong's judicial independence and could put dissidents at risk, including activists and journalists. The situation is escalating, creating uncertainties and unrests within Hong Kong, as well as China's relationship with the world.
Objectives
In this critical time, we would like to present a press photo exhibition that highlights the current social and political condition of Hong Kong around the world. Between peaceful demonstrations and increasingly violent confrontations between police and civilians, reporters on the frontline have been braving tremendous risk to cover all the protests and clashes. By sharing the power of photojournalism amid this chaos, we wish to stand in solidarity with all members of the media and initiate conversations among Hong Kong people and the international community about human rights, freedom of speech and freedom of press. The exhibition had been held in Zurich, Toronto (twice) and Strasbourg.
