We kindly invite you to the opening of Minda Andrén's first soloshow "CUIRASS" on Tuesday, May 23 2017, 7PM at ZELLER VAN ALMSICK, Franz-Josefs-Kai 3, 1010 Vienna.
Minda Andrén will be presenting a new body of work, which draws inspiration from "nude bubbling". It was initially a means of enhancing nakedness by adding bubbles to pictures of girls in bikinis. Influenced by the aesthetics of romanticism and pop culture, her new works revolve around balancing and tying elements that are abstract yet storytelling.
Starting today her work will be on view at the group-show "AMAZING GIRLS / IT'S COMPLICATED" at KevinSpace, Vienna.
Alongside Minda Andrén's soloshow, Collectors Agenda will be opening "My Austrian Friends" with Riiko Sakkinen (FI) and on the Mezzanin of Franz-Josefs-Kai 3, Neuer Kunstverein Wien will be showing "Thingness" with Yingmei Duan (CN). There will be a bar to quench your thirst at ground floor level (AIL- Angewandte Innovation Lab) and you are very welcome to join us for an afterparty at ?Das kleine Vorspiel?
