Discussion and Book Release ? The Future of Education and Labor

The discussion will focus on projected changes of future labor markets, and what this means for the current educational systems. There are studies that almost half of the jobs, currently existing, may perish in the coming decades. So there is need for innovation and creativity for reforms of contemporary and future-oriented education.

Elisabeth Westphal, Policy Advisor for Teaching and Higher Education in Europe, Universities Austria; PhD student at the University of Vienna and INCHER/University of Kassel (topic: The Bologna Reform: Policy Making in Europe and Austria).
Moderation: Monica Titton, sociologist and culture critic, lecturer at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, free-lance fashion journalist.
