"I winked at her in response and went down the stairs into the hall to my locker, that I finally got one when someone resigned. I was looking forward to have my own locker. As if it was giving some kind of dignity. "
Per Petterson, "I Curse the River of Time"

Wardrobe, cassette or locker is an object most frequently encountered in the collective - barracks, schools and factories. Like the truck cabin or workshop, wardrobes are an example of public-private space. Although they are not belong to the one who use them, due to daily use user begins to accept them as their own, and thus arises a need to mark them somehow by signature, pictures, stickers or newspaper’s articles. In this way, a wardrobe ceases to be just one in a sea of same wardrobe and becomes something personal, allocated and different from the others.

Photographies were taken in the hangar for reparation of trains, abandoned in the middle of the last century. Although shabby, the space is incredibly preserved, as it was frozen in time. Special attention is drawn to the wardrobes in which still can be found glued photography, pamphlets and nude beauties from magazine.

Who were those people? How was their everyday life? Were they any different from today's workers?
This exhibition is an opportunity to look into their public-private space and find out something about the the life of Spanish workers during the dictatorship.
