We are pleased to present the premier of FOUNDATIONS Magazine on Saturday July 19th, 8-11pm.

"The Open Issue" will be the first printed edition of FOUNDATIONS. Created by young innovators, FOUNDATIONS will be printed on a Bi-Annual calendar focusing on emerging to mid-career art, film and writing from around the world. The Open Issue will include contributions in Art by Erika Braukis, Zachary Chistensen, Andrew Hutton, Marianne Vlaschits, Sebastian Gladstone, Kyle Roberts, Roxana Eslamieh, Theo Slavin; in Writing: Lila Gray, Nicholas Christensen, Sam Coggeshall, Josh Shaffer; with Interviews of, Ray Potes, Lizzie Wright, and Josh Rofe.

In celebration of it's inaugural issue in print, Los Angeles based artists Kyle Roberts and Andrew Hutton will perform 20x20, composed of 20 short performances pieces in approximately 20 minutes, the order of which is chosen by the audience. 20x20 can be seen as a series of pantomimes reflecting the absurd and predicable nature of modern life. As a work of art it aims to expose these denials of reality and create an interactive experience that is genuine, which leaves viewers with a lasting impression of the underlying motivations of the human condition. "Its loud, its chaotic, its sweaty and honestly its really fun..." Kyle Roberts, as interviewed by Creative Culture Worldwide.

Along with the performance will be a group show with work from the artists in FOUNDATIONS Issue One. Comprised of works on paper, the show will act as a continuation of the dialogue created through FOUNDATIONS by presenting new work by the artists.

Dj set by Nino Stelzl.

There will also be complementary drinks and a BBQ.
