Dienstag Abend: Nathalie Wuerth

It happens sometimes that you recognise a place without ever having been there. Photos, texts, films and fantasies seem to
partake in shaping a constructed experience that makes us remember things we haven’t yet experienced. We’ve never been to Belfast before, but as with a lot of other places, we still have nurtured an idea of the place. What happens when these ideas are confronted with the city itself? We aim to explore this through the medium of performance and video, in setting up scenes where we will interact with the places that capture our attention, places that we seem to recognise or places that simply invites an imaginary set up.
