Miriam Hamann: Ohne Schritt

Ohne Schritt deals with the phenomena of series, mass, formation and effect. Cast in concrete abstract forms of the human foot were reproduced as multiples. The concrete is contrary to the fragile human foot, but at the same time it refers to the force and strength attributed to the foot for carrying most of the human body’s weight.
The concrete multiples are arranged in a specific way reflecting mass and the generated effect. At the same time Ohne Schritt is about movement being negated by the multiples’ static arrangement
