Balinese Beast (George Axiotis and Ilan Manouach) seem to be bound to determine the shortest distance between silence and ear-splitting noise. Armed with free jazz sax, home-brewed electronics, effects and samples, they create miniatures of feedback and wild, chaotic cut-ups that blend a sort of punk energy with improvisational practices, in the course of a stroll to the borders of the sonic spectrum. They have appeared in shows with Sudden Infant, John Wiese, Lasse Marhaug Jerôme Noetinger, Eric Thielemans and they have performed in festivals like Sonic Protest in Paris. Since 2010 they have amassed a considerable body of work, spread across an eponymous LP, various 7”s and cassettes and two split LP’s with Wham Jah and Fusiller respectively.

No God Ritual (alias Timos Alexandropoulos), is a multidisciplinary artist/programmer based in Athens/Greece. His main interest is the use of algorithmic systems and the use of different programming concepts and techniques -such as tactical media ideas, internet, hacking, data elaboration etc- in order to create complex synthesized sounds. He has performed both in clubs and galleries, sharing the stage with artists like John Wiese, Lasse Marhaug, Evol and others. His new 12” album Nuum has just been released through a joint effort by Romvos and Felt Collective.
