Nodolby (ITA)
Michele Scariot (b. 1974) is an experimental musician. He is an improvisor and composer originally from Belluno (Italy) who works with the manipulation of cassettes in combination with processed feedbacks, effects and various electronic sound sources. Founding member of experimental electronic duo ENT (1999-2008), he plays since 2007 in solo as nodolby and he has made several releases for Italian and international labels from USA, Europe, Japan, and Australia. Nodolby’s live-sets constantly shift between ecstatic noise and minimal sounds, construction and destruction alternates each other with the intent to drive the listener within a sound journey. In 2007, he founded the independent record label DOKURO, through which he published vinyls, CD-Rs and cassettes of experimental music by artists such as Mike Shiflet, 2673, Antony Milton, Magneticring, Sindre Bjerga, Kam Hassah, To Live and Shave in L.A., J. soliday, Pax Titania and more. Since 2013, he also plays in two other projects: Humans Fuck Off and Yes! Regret.
Outer Vertex (US/AT, Tape Release Show)
Outer Vertex are Eric Arn, who has led the psychedelic cruise ship Primordial Undermind through decades of explorations of the outer and inner cosmos and Christoph Weikinger, who plays guitar alongside Eric in the current line-up of Primordial Undermind and also does psych-rock-noise outfit Torùn. Having been consistently wowed by their live shows over the last year, it’s a pleasure to present their debut recordings on this split tape with Endless Caverns.
