Ein seltenes Zusammentreffen zweier Ensembles, die auf Konzepte neuer Aufführungspraxen für Großgruppen spezialisiert sind: Le Grand Groupe Régional d’Improvisation Libérée “… a kind of poststructuralist village band (?) has entered the elite of Québec?s musical avant-garde” (Stuart Broomer) und das Vienna Improvisers Orchestra, das sich als erstes Ensemble für dirigierte Großensembleimprovisation (seit 2005) in Österreich in der selben Kategorie wähnen darf und zuletzt nach Auftritten und Projekten im Künstlerhaus Wien sein 10-jähriges Arbeiten im brut Theater mit 40 MusikerInnen und AutorInnen on stage feierte.
