PERFORMANCE
For “Underneath my skin // watch me grow” Sofi Utikal invites the spectators to enter her mind as a space inhabited by different voices and languages while wittnessing the growing of a plant on her body and inside her skin. The spectators are immersed in a story of migration across the oceans while the image inspired by Ipomea Pes Carpae, a creeping vine found on beaches and dunes throughout her biography, such as in in Florida, USA where Utikal was born, Cartagena de Indias, Colombia the homeland of her mother and Sucre, Venezuela the place her grandmother died. The plant is known for its ability to survive salty waters and growing in the dunes, expands as the source of inner strenght that has accompanied her own personal history of migration, selfknowledge and resistance towards being Other in her homeland.

PRESENTATION ?Popayork? by Edinson Quiñones
The artist Edinson Quiñones will share an insight into his work and his creative process that wavers from expierience to art and from art to experience, as a path of healing. He will present his life proyect “Popayork” an Artist in Residency Program for artists working with critical-environmental thought integrated to ancestral technologies and poetics in Cuaca, Colombia.
