A Year

Fabrikraum hosts Feza Velicangil’s first solo show in Vienna. After having a successful career as the owner of the Istanbul based art gallery SANATORIUM for seven years and founding the new gallery SCAG in Vienna in 2017, she found herself returning to her art practice. In the exhibition titled as ‘A Year’, she is going to share her latest works that she has produced in 2019.

A Year

Some years are more significant than others,
2019 has been one such year to me.
Having stopped dealing with some past times,
wanted to start with others found myself
unexpectedly and passionately mixing colours and putting them on the canvas in the end.
This exhibition is simply a projection of my 2019 as a collection of visual designs
