A quien corresponda / to whom it may concern

A quien corresponda [To Whom It May Concern] is an exhibition that invites us to look through the inner mirror of the habitat, where comes back to us the question of where are we from and where can we go.

With this experience, cecilia miranda says that throughout the human history the brick has been fundamental for the common idea of habitat and construction but, surprisingly, it has not been modified a lot. With a simple brick we can find historic, economic and political relations.

Her recent projects involve a performative practice focused on the public space and memory. In her artwork A quien corresponda, the acknowledgment offered in Mexikoplatz in Vienna has been transformed in a mirror of her native country, as if it was the famous song of The Tigres del Norte Mexican band.
