When the night smokes out and the neon shines through dark alleys. A young couple look through the skyscrapers, mist and glow of the city into the abyss of the sky. A giant fiery rocket on the way to mars pushes through the lonely fluffy clouds. Beneath them the hard beat of the underworld clubs crawls through the gutter and attracts the crowd. They follow. Darkness, weirdness, neon again.

Space meets techno. Experimental electronics meets beefy arps. Analog meets digital. Modular weirdness meets digital Grooveboxes. Patching meets saving.

“I am a producer and DJ from Slovenia, currently based in Vienna. My main focus is techno, but I like to dive into other genres as well. I love to explore dark atmospheres, dissonance and occasionally gentler, more melodic soundscapes.

This time I’ve put together a live techno set, which is a collection of my released and unreleased material, mixed with improvisational elements. It ranges from atmospheric and melodic, all the way to dark, dissonant and distorted tones.”

cultRa (WIEN/AT)
cultRa ist ein Techno Projekt aus Wien. Hier treffen wummerte Kickdrums, ohrenbetäubende Soundscapes und postapokalyptische Industriegeräusche aufeinander und tauchen einen in eine düstere und energiegeladene Klangwelt. Seit 2020 produziert und performt er fast ausschließlich Modular. Seine Livesets sind spontan, impulsiv und unberechenbar.
