CLOSER ∞ CLOSURE
A game of words referring to the „permanent-temporary“ situation we are in and the way it has changed our perceptions and mindset.

Closer. Closure.
A new taboo. A new norm.
The concept of time is replaced by rules which are distancing us and perspectives which are connecting and yet separating us.
Recognition occurs in the moment, and the eternal is stored in memory. In the situation of the norm formation, it is interesting to trace the process of acquaintance and meeting of the guise, and its consolidation as the most common pattern. Dialogue builds a way from the meeting glimpse to the depot of memories.

Kristina Cyan
b.1988, Russia
Interdisciplinary artist Kristina Cyan currently lives and works in Vienna. Kristina acquired her education in Arts and Design, MA at St.Petersburg University of Technology and Design, MA Art Theory at the Moscow ICA and study Digital media Art at Academy Fine Arts Vienna.

Zhanina Marinova
b.1994, Varna, Bulgaria
Zhanina Marinova studied Graphics and Printmaking at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna Austria where she currently lives and works as a Visual artist and Printmaker.
