Larissa Leverenz: Waves

Leverenz understands her paintings as “spaces of possibilities” in which there is often an existential, tragicomic and poetic underlying mood.

In her through-composed, architectural works through 2018/19 or in her new series of works “Comedy of Creatures” and “All my Ghosts,” which break away from geometry, the questions remain similar. They revolve around the great themes of life, in search of our essence, our origins and future, and are always an attempt to convey an idea of ourselves.
