Artist of the month: Yona Minatti

there is nothing really new and unique in this world. this is why i (4ona) love to work with preexisting materials and objects that i find on the streets. all i can offer are my thoughts, feelings and how i see and experience the world. this can take the form of a self portrait, but is always full of art historical, philosophical and political references (and humor too!!). i want you to notice the gold (and hope) in the dirt!

about the artist:
a young trans woman in a lesbian relationship. she’s currently living (and working) in vienna and studying history of arts. she works with everything she can find, and that ranges from two to three dimensions.
