Skateboard Art

Back in the summer of 2006 we did our first skateboard show.

Now almost 4 1/2 years later we are at it again! The Skateboard Museum in Stuttgart will be showing its traveling exhibit entitled “The Art of Skateboarding.” Not only is this sport a form of art in itself but it also inspires and creates art in a more traditional sense. For decades now the deck has been used as a canvas by thousands of artists around the world. Every kid who sticks a company logo or tags a name on his deck is adding his or her artistic expression to that piece of wood. The Skateboard Museum has collected a number of amazing decks from some of the worlds best artists.
