Eine Radioperformance im Wiener Resselpark

Bring dein Radiogerät am 16.6.2011 punkt 13:00 in den Wiener Resselpark - schalte es auf die Frequenz ORANGE 94.0 - dreh es laut auf und bilde mit 1000 anderen Geräten einen Radiochor - lausche einer Dekonstruktion der Alltagsgeräusche im Park - Gespräche, Handyklingeln, Kindergeschrei, Straßenbahnen, Auto- und Baustellenlärm, Hundegebell, Windrauschen, Vögelgezwitscher, Musik - Menschen die auf ihren gewohnten Pfaden durch die Stadt laufen - Eine temporäre Radiostation fängt dieses breite akustische Spektrum ein, 1000 Radiogeräte zerlegen es und multiplizieren es wieder zurück ins tausendfache - Willkommen bei einer Wiener Kakophonie.
Erzeuge ein Geräusch - trage einen Text vor - nutze eine temporäre Radio Station als Speakers’ Corner - sag’ was du schon immer einmal öffentlich sagen wolltest - alles ist möglich bei dieser Radioperformance, die zeitgleich im Wiener Resselpark als auch im Radio stattfindet.
Ein Experiment an der Schnittstelle von Radio, Performance und Flashmob-Aktion.

BRING YOUR OWN RADIO! TUNE IN! PARTICIPATE!
Bring your own radio on June 16th, 1 p.m. to the Resselpark/ Karlsplatz and join the performance in front of the Karl’s Church. Syntonize your radio to the right frequency which is radio orange - 94.0. That’s the freuquency where the radio performance will be broadcasted.
Turn your radio on as load as possible and sculpt a choir together with 1000 other radios - listen to the deconstruction of every day life sounds - conversations - ringing mobile phones - screaming children - tramways - noise from constructions sights - barking dogs - whispering trees - birds’ twittering – music. A temporary radio station will capture this wide variety of sounds, deconstruct it and the radios next to you will send out the result - the viennese cacophony.
Make some noise, read out a text, use the radio station as a speaker’ corner, say what you’ve always wanted to speak out but where afraid to say. Or just sit down and listen. Everything is possible during the performance which will take place live in the Resselpark as well as on the radio.
