security by candlelight at the metalab

Tonite, ~19:00 Dan and Bre will spontaneously host a security by candlelight at the metalab.

Dan will show some of his recent research, including dns rebinding attacks and vpn’ing into private networks … basically the same as at
http://defcon.org/html/defcon-15/dc-15-speakers.html#Kaminsky and some more stuff (it depends on you to lure it out of him ;) - yet, he will not give a
talk but (even better!) more sort of host a working group

Bre thinks about infecting us with some of the not-yet-make’d projects with some sort of presentation or workshop. let’s see … :)

Dan Kaminsky is director of penetration testing at IOActive (www.ioactive.com)

Bre is editor at make magazine (www.makezine.com)

Both are with the rest of the “hackers on a plane” on a short visit at the metalab in vienna. So come and enjoy, and if you want, bring your own stuff to talk about: people are *very* interested (and dan asked for not being the only one talking ;)
