On 01.06.23 at 18:00 we are honored to host an artist talk accompanied by a conversation on eternity between Christiane Peschek and bio-chemist Renée Schroeder who recently published her new book „Der Traum der Unsterblichkeit“ (the dream of immortality).

Renée Schroeder, born in Brazil in 1953, studied biochemistry in Vienna and New York, habilitated in genetics and headed the Department of Biochemistry and Cell Biology at the University of Vienna. The internationally renowned scientist carried out pioneering work, for example in the study of RNA. The multi-award-winning molecular biologist, declared environmentalist and author has been running a mountain farm since her retirement, is committed to communicating science to the general public and is a much respected voice on major socio-political issues.
