While the making of profit and debt now organizes every facet of urban life, the concept of commoning questions the premise of ownership and explores the potential of sharing and caring as powerful means of making another world possible. We search for insights as well as inspirations from forms of trading that have emerged in recent economic restructurings. Where do these practices produce commoning; how do they relate to the production of space? And what kind of social relations and attachments do they produce?
