EVERYONE I EVER LOVED AND ALL I EVER WANTED
Please invite a group of friends and associates to join you in the following exercise.
Imagine a list of everyone you have ever loved. Who you loved is up to you - love might be fleeting, familial, platonic, past, or present. Invite each person on the list to visit the space for a drink on the opening night.
Mark the presence of those who are estranged and those who are unable to attend with an object somewhere in the gallery.
Set a table in the gallery with a single chair for each guest, and provide food and drink on the evening of the opening, accompanied by music of sentimental importance to these past relationships.
When the end of the evening is approaching, please ask each guest to state all they have ever wanted.
The event should be held the first night of the opening. Evidence of what happened should remain in the space.
